Some membership fees are still outstanding. These need to be paid ASAP.
Committee will pick team captains going forward.
Use of a tiered point system for winners of the Leagues.
Suggested to run more Qualifiers for the year ahead and maybe monthly competitions too – something regular to keep players engaged.
Exclude players not going to Killarney from Qualifiers? Some in favour, but most were against.
Clear rules need to be set & communicated before the Leagues start. Will players be allowed to play a max of 2 or 3 matches in one evening? We need to facilitate holidays, work etc.
Discussed to stick with top 6.
King of the Hill Comp should be a shorter race. Currently race to 17.
Using the white board when waiting for tables. Maybe putting a limit of 1 hour on tables at busy times? And priority for League players on tables if it is their League night to play.
Fund Raising – we need to do more. Suggested to link up with a local bar for challenge matches in return for sponsorship?
IPA’s – can we push for an event this year in Donegal?
Ladies – can we suggest 4 on a team, so each team have 1 sub?
Can we suggest that Killarney starts a day or even 2 earlier? Some players were playing very late on the final night this year.
What about accommodation for the Sunday night in Killarney? Should this be automatically included?
Junior Leagues – can we look to run more to bring on their competitiveness?
