We’ve got just over 6 weeks until the Donegal County Championships. Here is all the information you need to know:
DATE: April 24th – 26th, 2026
VENUE: Radisson Blu, Letterkenny, F92 FK15
DRESS CODE: Full dress code: Trousers, dress shoes, matching collared shirts for teams.
This means:
NO trainers
NO tracksuit bottoms
NO jeans
NO t-shirts
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
Friday, April 24th:
5:00pm O40s and U23s singles – Race to 5.
Saturday, April 25th:
9:30am: Team photos.
10:00am: Team matches – A Teams, Race to 9; B Teams, Race to 7.
*Any team with an A-League-standard player will be entered into the A-Team event, all other teams will be sorted at the discretion of the committee.
Sunday, April 26th:
10:00am: Main Singles – Race to 6.
*For the main singles, there will be the main event plus a B-section, as well as a plate event. Anyone playing on a team will be automatically entered into the main event. If you’d like, also, to enter the B-section event, there is an extra €20 entry fee. The B-section singles is only open to players playing who either played in the B-Team event, or of a substantially similar standard.
10:00am: Ladies Singles – Race to 4.
SHOT CLOCK: All team matches will have a 45-second shot clock. Matches will be played on 2 tables, and each team will have a time-keeper for one table. Frames will be docked for non-compliance.
For singles, the committee may impose the shot clock if a match is taking too long, and any player can request a shot clock, as well.
ENTRY FEES:
Teams: €250 per team (4 people + 1 sub), with anyone playing on a team automatically entered in the main singles event.
Main Singles: €50 for anyone not playing on a team.
O40s, U23s and Ladies Singles: €30
**please note that singles entry from teams includes entry to main singles event and does not transfer to other singles events.
When paying for team entries, please be sure to include the name of the team, the team member names, and a list of all the singles events each team member will be playing in.
DEADLINE: Payment for all entries must be received by 8pm, April 15th. There will be no exceptions.
SPONSORSHIPS:
Table sponsorship: €200 (limited availability) your logo on the side of the table, plus on the stream.
Streaming sponsorship: €80 permanent placement on the stream. (limited availability)
Intermittent Stream Sponsor: €40 included in the rotating logos placed on the stream.
PAYMENTS: Payment can be made by cash in the club, via direct bank transfer, Revolut bank transfer, or on the shop page of the website.
Again, please be sure to include the team name, team-member names and the singles events each player wants to enter.
