Our first ladies’ qualifier of the year is in the books. We had 11 girls participate, and it was a great evening of pool & craic.
McKenzie Devine Sweeney made it to the plate final for the first time, against Shauna McWilliams, who won on a scoreline of 4-1. Well done, girls.
In the main event, the semi-finals saw Christine Henderson and Rosey McGuigan face off, with Christine coming out ahead 5-1; then Mini Morris took on Annette Pearson, who won in a decider 5-4.
Annette Pearson again dominated the field, and won the final 6-3.
Well done to all.
The ladies would like to give our thanks to Mark Meehan for coming in early to open up the club for us 2 hours early. Thanks also go to Sean Devenney, who came in to help us with the tournament management and kept CueScore up-to-the-minute. You guys rock!
Lastly, further thanks go McGuigan’s Bar, Stranorlar, for sponsoring the trophies for the event.
The next ladies’ qualifier is scheduled for November 3rd.
