On December 21st, Donegal Pool Association and CYMS-Letterkenny were fortunate enough to be able to host Chris Melling for an exhibition event. After suffering through quite an ordeal – involving a cancelled flight and a bus – he was detoured to Teac Bhillie’s for a meal, and arrived in Letterkenny with 45 minutes to spare.
He played a frame or two with a couple dozen of our members, showed us more than few of his trick-shots, shared some tips for lining up bank shots, and spent some time answering all kinds of questions from the attendees.
The committee would like to give a big “Thank You!!” to Tina Reaney, who worked tirelessly seeing to all of the details behind the scenes.
We also would like to applaud all of the junior members of Donegal Pool who made a great showing of themselves. The future of pool in Donegal is looking great!
